Oh, hey!
I’m Francesca!
I decided to pursue boudoir after experiencing its magic myself. At 20, I suffered a near-death experience that had me feeling completely betrayed by my own body—a feeling I tried to combat by self-portraiture. I didn’t know it at the time but I was essentially dabbling in what I now know to be boudoir. I decided that the way it changed my outlook on my own body and confidence was not something I wanted to keep secret but that I had to share so I began learning and practicing boudoir photography so I could offer the experience to anyone who wants it.
I strongly believe that self-love and self-actualization are cornerstones in happiness. Do something for you because you want to.
I also photograph portraits, events, and fine art concepts whenever I the opportunity presents itself. Photography is my happy place—boudoir is just the favorite child.

I’ve covered the general tips for posing but having been considered “plus-size” tips and tricks for styling and posing I realized that some of the tips in the previous posts don’t work that well when you’ve got a little more meat on your bones.
A photoshoot is a vulnerable experience, and a boudoir or intimate shoot can be even more so. In this post, I answer the most frequently asked questions I get from my clients.
A boudoir shoot is a vulnerable experience and can bring up all kinds of fears and concerns for everyone. Women, in particular, have a few common ones that come up when I talk to clients, and I’d like to address those in this post.
